Bogart & JVC GY HM700 compatability

Post by garymcnally »

A client just picked up one of these cameras used, and is having trouble getting HD into Bogart.
They prefer 1280x720p60 HQ (which is 35mbps at a variable bit rate), but that won't import in B5 or Media Manager.
I see the JVC GY HM700 shoots either MOV or MP4 files in various resolutions and frame rates, in interlace or progressive, and at various data rates.
Has anyone had any success importing JVC GY HM700 files via the USB import button in the Bogart record menu?
Or in Media manager for that matter?
What format works with Bogart, and what version of Bogart are you using?
It appears the camera will also output 1440x1080i60 HDV via firewire; has anyone ever tried using the record button with firewire?
THANKS!
