Bogart 6.1 default Title Studio install issues

BOGART 6.1 INSTALLS TITLE STUDIO V2 LIMITED EDITION AS THE DEFAULT TITLER AUTOMATICALLY

This was not our idea! But since many users do not read the manual or release notes, we just want to report a common mistake some are making. Even though Title Studio v1 has been on the market for years, the free Title Studio v2 Limited Edition that comes with Bogart 6.1, is not intuitive for some, and certainly only a limited version. Plus the old Title FX packages are not accessible without a minor setting change.

To remedy this situation after your Bogart 6.1 installation, go into the main Bogart Menu, select the SYSTEM button, then select the INSTALL PRODUCT button, then scroll down to T and select Title Studio v2, then click hide, and then OK. Now when you launch the Titler all your installed Title packages will be available to you.

If you did a full destructive install of Bogart 6.1, your Add-on Title FX packages would need to be installed from the INSTALL PRODUCT menu, with the add-on software disc.
Simply click the eject button in the lower right hand corner of the screen. Insert the latest add-on SW disc, click the eject button to close the tray, and wait for the 60 some titles on the disc to populate (display on the screen) (about 2 minutes give or take depending on model speed).
Select each add-on program you wish to activate, and then click activate. Repeat this until everything you want is installed.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:
If you like Title Studio v2 as many do, you may want to purchase the full version 1.xx from your dealer for $199. Or you may already own TSv1.xx. In either case, you would want to delete Title Studio v2 in the INSTALL PRODUCT menu before installing Title Studio v1.xx with your add-on SW disc.
