Front LCD Screen not working 6000

Front LCD Screen not working 6000
My front lcd screen is just white. the unit seems to be working ok though. Do I need this screen?

Other than looking pretty it doesn't do a lot for you.
If the machine was misbehaving then there "might" be some info we could see on it to ascertain whether it's actually running and what the TV output was but other than that it doesn't do much.
