transferring to usb

Post by francisbvp »

I'm using the Karat model and was wondering when wanting to send a finished project to a USB stick for viewing direct on a TV what is the best procedure as when i save a full HD project via the "back up the storyboard" it saves onto the usb in 20 minute sections ?? Any help much appreciated

Format the stick to NTFS.......use MM and save to either MP4 or MPEG-2 for plugging into a HDTV.

If you have RB.....You can use the scene bin OPT. button for saving the SB, after you made a complete SCENE and placed into the scene bin........highlight....open OPT....export choice will be available.

In Bogart 7, the process will be easier.

NTFS is a Windows type format for the USB stick - NTSC is the TV system in the US as opposed to 'our' PAL.

All these acronyms do my head in sometimes
