NEW PATTERN X and PIP STUDIO plus Jingles TIP

Post by LouBruno »

The new PATTERN X allows the editor to build his own background patterns and lower thirds using the MATTES and POLYCHROMATIC patterns found in ALL patterns which have the aforementioned.

Here is a small and easy exercise incorporating the new PATTERN X and the COLLAGE feature of Photo Studio and Photo Studio 2:

.MAKE A PS 2 COLLAGE using small scenes NOT bordering on the edge and create a 5 second scene to your scene bin>highlight same in the scene bin>this will be your bottom layer.

.Open the new PATTERN X

.SELECT MASK>scroll to BORDER X 11 016

.PRESS>OK

.PLACE MASK>POSITION 0>SIZE 720X480 OR open as wide as possible to fill ENTIRE screen

.PRESS OK

.Open SELECT PATTERN

.DESIGNATE (for this exercise) PATTERN X>POLYCHROMATIC>SKY 4

.PRESS OK

.RENDER to the scene bin

.Highlight the rendered scene

.OPEN the SPECIAL>Z1DROP 1

.RIPPLE SIZE and DISTORTION>MEDIUM

RENDER to scene bin and ADD to the storyboard

.OPEN THE AUDIO RECORD EDIT WINDOW

.SPECIAL>NEW SAMPLE>SOUND>SELECT SOUND

.SCROLL to Effects-Jingles>TYPE>sounds for fade

.CHOOSE FADE1>OK and RENDER to the audio bin and NAME it FADE

.OPEN AUDIO MIX window and Add FADE 1 TO AN AUDIO TRACK under the above scene

.Set a fade-out to 1 second and RENDER

.ENJOY!!!
