Yes, I did a full destructive install as part of the trouble shooting process. The problem began the first time it was turned on after several hundred mile shipment. It was a "previously owned" unit that had been working without any problems other than the commonly known ones.
No software was installed as it had all available released software for S4000 Pro already on it.
HD SD no difference Any intensive rendering by any program would cause a shut down in 1 - 8 minutes.
Justin Philpot (sp) Technician, is in touch with Germany to inquire from the engineers about the possible causes for the over heating.
I think we are closing in on the cause. I just hope it doesn't require a trip to Boulder CO.
