Hello to all. I have a customer that wanted me to create a computer readable file (NOT an MPEG 2 standard DVD) of various footage tapes. I have the Renommee Plus right now, so I created type 2 .AVI files on a TY DVD. The customer has a MAC computer and she said the disc does not show up anywhere under the "my computer" access. She is going to talk to her apple dealer to see if there is special software to make the .avi type 2 files readable. She has tried sveral diferrent downloads from apple but still not working. Any suggestions for any MAC owners out there?
Thanks

Joel,
Chet would probably be the best source of info on this as I know he uses Disk Transfer with his Mac successfully so if you are member of his website I'd correspond with him direct there as well as wait for answers here.

My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.

Hi Joel,
Since Leopard (OS X 10.5) I've been unable to use Disk Transfer DVD's on my Mac. Not only do they not show up on the Desktop, as they used to, but the computer refuses to eject them - unless I re-start.
We also had an issue a while ago where Arabesk DVD's wouldn't play either. However with updates to Arabesk and OS X this problem has been fixed.
