Solitaire just shuts down while rendering help

I believe it's not a UPS. Its a Isobar ultra 4 surge protector that has 2 Isolated filter banks what ever that means. Will a UPS really correct my issues though? Has anyone had issues like me where a UPS fixed the problem? Can u recommend a good value/quality UPS?

While I am a strong believer and supporter in using a UPS with AVR circuitry to maintain and protect expensive electronics (not just our equipment, but PCs, AV Receivers, etc) I do not think your issue is likely directly related to that.

So NO, I do not think adding a UPS with AVR circuitry will fix your issue, might have prevented it though.

At this point you don't know what your issue is, but a surge protector does not protect you from day to day voltage irregularities that can wear down, degrade or destroy electronic circuits.

So I would recommend you invest (not spend) in such protection.

I do recommend you get one with the AVR (auto voltage regulator) circuitry to truly protect your unit though.
