insert Problems!
I am working on a piece and am trying to insert a scene on another. When I insert it the story board looks good but when I put a crossfade in between the scenes a litle part of the old scene shows. I have tried to Make the inserted scene larger. I have tried to move the insert left with range and position. That revealed a couple frames of the old scene onthe other end. I then made the inserted scene larger so when I pulled it left there was more to cover on the right. I would leave it with out a transition but there is music to black and its kinda abrupt. Does anyone have experience with this? Bob...

Re: insert Problems!
I fixed it myself. I made a scene out of the 3 scenes in question and then split them. That worked beautifully. I don't understand why it happened but the solution wasn't bad. Thanks Bob...

Re: insert Problems!
Bob,
It is a limitation of the system.
If you try a transition with an Insert at the edge of a base Scene this will occur.
As you have discovered you can get around that using the Scene function.

My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.
