Bill,
Well, your cam can shoot both in HD interlace and progressive as well as MPEG2 SD so tough to say what your footage is in.
You have tried loading to all four possibilities:
Projects set to HD
Projects set to HD Progressive
Projects set to 16:9 anamorphic
Projects set to 16:9 progressive?

Plug the unit into your computer. Make sure it is FAT 32.
If you are using the HXR-FMU 128, make sure you have the firmware upgrade. Contact SONY. The HXR units were having a BUFFER OVERFLOW problem thus no recordings present due to corruption even though the unit is powered-up.

I just used the default settings on the camera. I think it is interlaced. The sd card loaded into an Apple. When I use the 4000 It says loading, then it has a preview window. The window goes away then the bell rings and nothing in the bin. I probably have some setting wrong. I have tried both hd settings.
I will contact sony about the memory module.
