I'm pretty certain I've either done or seen done what I've forgotten how to do. I want to put a bit of music from the camera sound track in one project clip into the audio sample bin for inclusion in another project. I had the idea you had to go through the clipboard. Can anyone please help?

Yes - this button is one of my favorites, here's how you do it.

1. Select the scene in the scene bin you wish to 'extract' the audio from
2. Click on 'Special' and scroll down to 'Scene -> Sample' (it's in the top section of Special menu)
3. Click 'ok' and voila!... your audio track is ripped and can now be found in the audio menus with the same name of the video scene.
