I got the Bogart 2.1e OS on Monday and have successfully input 6 videos of various lengths via Firewire, including a one hour 300 scene Quad Cam band video with NOT A SINGLE DROPPED FRAME. :D :D When I played them back from the HD it kind of looked like there might be a few but when I made dvd's of all the programs they played back perfectly. So it looks like we can put this one behind us...FINALLY! :D

Where and when did you get the 2.1e software? This is all news to me that the software is again updated.

The Bogart 1.4e/2.1e version has been put on two separate servers to download. Either one should work to get the program. However, as this software was intended for a small testing group, the downloads were not meant for heavy traffic and will take very long periods of time to load. You may wish to try getting loading them at lower traffic times. Please note: this beta version has not yet been cleared by our testing division! It has corrections to the DV input and some other minor patches, but may have further issues related to the analog input. It also has not cleared additional phase levels of tests yet. Use at your own risk.

I will reitterate what many will tend to gloss over and ignore:
It also has not cleared additional phase levels of tests yet. Use at your own risk."

It means just that, if you use it and it turns around and bites you don't expect much help here as you are using something that has not been fully tested so there could be poisonous snakes and quicksand in here that no one can help you with.

That you are having problems with the current released version is a given, but deciding it couldn't get worse might not be true.

Use at your own risk means just that.
