Update to OS-8

Can somebody please let me know when the upgrade to os8
is going to be released, I called tech suppoprt aprox. 6 weeks ago
regarding some issues with os8 and was told the the upgrade was in
it's final beta testing, that the release was expected in about 2 weeks
what happened??
