I have a 1 to 5 Echo Duplicator. Two of the drives will work for CD's but will not recognize DVDs. Any thoughts? Thanks

I had that happen to my very first tower wayyyy back in 2004.

I assume the DVD burner laser part is dead.

I STILL have that first tower and we use it only for CD's. We have another tower that we do DVD's on now.

We supply Acard but I am assuming the controller is similar. If so you can run through the Set Up from the menu. Check that the Source and destination drives are all set up correctly. If this doesn't locate the problem contact your supplier who may have come accross this problem before.
