After successfully burning a DVD of a 12 Minutes project I would like to make a few minor adjustments to sound/sound fades etc and perhaps add a commentary.
I have successfully restored a backup copy I'd made but, instead of being split into original scenes on the edit screen, it shows a 12 minute scene only.
Is there any way I can split this into original scenes again to edit sound at correct points and, perhaps, add a commentary
I'd be very grateful for any and every bit of advice given - or even an 'it's not possible answer'

Re: Editing Restored Backup
Hello Dixons,
Is this restoration you speak of is from the Ksebara function - from a DVD authored in Arabesk?
This would provide you with a single scene for each film you created in Arabesk and there is no way of automatically breaking this out into the separate components you used to create this project. You can manually split this into the separate scenes but cannot easily divide the audio into the separate tracks you used initially.
While it is not perfect or complete, if you imagine you would like to further dissect or re-edit future work I would recommend you consider using the 'Storyboard Archive' found in the Project Settings screen. Since you are a member of CasablancaExpert.com - I will point you to the thorough article I previously prepared on this topic - you'll find it here:

Re: Editing Restored Backup
Thank you so much Chet; you saved me a lot of head scratching re this project.
(It was authored on Arabesk as suggested). It was/is a personal project, so not a great disaster in any way.
Thanks also for reference to item in your valuable website, which I'll bear in mind in similar circumstances in future
