S4100 display settings

Hi folks, just picked up my new S4100 last week and wondered about the display
settings. When I set the screen to 1920x1080i via the HDMI port on my Sony
Bravia 40" tv, the on screen interface is so small I have to sit about 3 feet
away from the telly in order to read it or recognise the picture icons in the
scene bin or storyboard.

Setting it to any of the lower res or composite settings, no
problem and the 'classic' interface appears. Naturally I'd like to work at as a
high a resolution as possible but is it possible to make things a bit bigger...?

The higher the resolution, the smaller the icons. However, it is my understanding that there will be other settings that allow for the newer interface plus have larger icons on the VGA side.

Thanks for that information Lou, and I suppose the next inevitable question is when might that be likely to happen ?
