Prestige Unit lost all Software/Please help

I just started up my Prestige unit after letting it sit for about 8 months. All of my software I purchased is not active. I have all the codes, but I can't get to a screen to activate them. Its like I have no software. Fonts, FX, Bonus pack, nothing. Anybody know what the problem is. Please help. I thank all in advance.

Hello White hat,
Go into Settings and click on "Instal Product" and the list of software that is on your hard drive will come up shortly. If you have added some new software, you will have to click on "Activate" and it'll captue it off of your CD and add it to the list where you will be asked for the code to have it show up as active in the list.
If you have done an update to the operating system ( Not a distructive full install ) Your edited work will still be on your hardrive and the software that was in there should all be active without doing anything else.
However if you did a complete and full Destructive install to clean up your hard drive,or this is a new or different hardrive, you will need to re-install all your software and your edited work that was on the hard drive will be gone along with your music and archived colors, titles etc. The good news is that the codes in that series of editors live in the Bios of the machine and will still be in there for all existing software after you re-load it. Having the codes in the Bios makes them accessable no matter how many different hard drives you put in the machine.
Newer Casablanca 3 models have the codes on the Hard drive and not in the Bios....so every time you do an instal or put in a new hardrive you have to re-enter all the codes.

When you power up your Prestige, does it take you to the homepage, you are familiar with where you can choose to go into system settings, record screen, Mix screen, or does it not fully come to life? What is showing on your monitor?
If you are on the homepage you should be able to get into system settings and follow jims steps.
Also be sure that your Monitor, keyboard and trackball are fully plugged in. If you havent used the unit for 8 months something may have wiggled loose.

Yes when it powers up, it goes to the homepage, fully comes to life. I just reset it up after being in a box for 8 months. I pretty sure everything is plugged in correctly, but will recheck it. I go to system settings, insert the software CD, click install products, the cd boots up for a minute. I see all the software I have or have purchased, and they are listed as active. If I click on one, then click the activate button, all I see is the RED CIRCLE with the slash thru it. Nothing else happens. Again thanks for your help.

If they are listed as Active why are you trying to activate them?!?
What makes you think you don't have any software activated?
Is this a matter of you go into Special (or IP Effects) and you are not seeing all the software?
If so, you probably have the selection set to default software or some such, switch it to All Software.
