I have a feeling us ''lowlys'' (folks on the Generation II editors) are gradually being fazed out. Probably to the point when ALL the Software will be Bogart ONLY.

That depends entirely on the demand. MacroSystem and also the third party software developers are businesses that need to make money. As long as enough users keep buying software products for the older machines, we will keep offering such new software.
There will certainly be a SmartEdit 9 upgrade this (late) fall, together with Bogart SE 3. This decision has already been made. If we sell enough copies, then a SmartEdit 10 a year later is likely.
