Feed the audio cables out from your audio cassette player into the audio in on your S4000.
Choose the appropriate input in the Audio Record menu and record the audio track/s you desire
Then use the Export to Audio CD function found in the Audio Record/Edit menu - details on this process are found on page 56 of the Bogart SE - User manual for Version 2. And, you're in luck -- I have a video tutorial on this topic on my website - this is one of several public resources you can take advantage of.

Bill:
Once you have downloaded your file to the audio section of your project, click on the Icon that states Burn sample to CD. On my prestige this is the very far righthand Icon. The screen will change showing two halves if you will. Your samples will be on the left side, the right side will be blank. Click on or select each of the samples you wish to burn and then select Add. Your files will now show up on the right side indicating they have been selected for burning. You can select them in any order that you wish, not neccesarily in the order they appear in your project. If you have more than one you may wish to write down the tracks so you can show your client the names of the tracks and which order they will appear in. Once you hit "BURN' you will no longer see them in the order you chose them.
Once you have ADDED them and they are on the right side, place a blank CD into the tray and select 'BURN TO CD'
this should get you what you are looking for.

The process is just hanging in the burning mode. I made a black scene for the 17 min and added the audio and sent it out firewire to my avio. Took the imported file and saved a audio file from it then copied the audio to cd using the copy to cd process. Went to bed. I will check the cd tonight. If all works I will do the same for the other 3 audio files I have to do.

Hi Bill:
Got a little confused trying to figure out your last post as to whether you were still having a problem. I take it that you still could not get your 4k pro to work properly, so you transferred the audio file to your avio, and that worked ok. I bet your glad you saved your old machine! There is no reason your 4K Pro should not work. I would be sure you have the latest upgrade for its OS and also for the Arabesk software. Maybe you upgraded the one but not the other? Just glad it worked out for you in the end.
