Quadcam Question!

Yesterday I was using the quadcam and about 27 minutes into a project I came upon a place where the camera I was on jerked. So I jerked to the left to try and minimize the jerk so I could trim it later and I went too far and hit the remove scene button. The #2 cam left me. I couldn't figure out what to do so I started over. This time about 24 minute in I hit something and it went back to the story board. I lost all I had done agin. My question is, is there a way to recover when that happends or is starting over the only option. The second time I let my finger drop down and hit the right mouse botton which is the back botton. I guess I'll tell on myself, I dosed off. My work was real interesting at that point. LOL! Bob...

Hi Bob
There is No way to recover from that- ones you click the right mouse button it is just over I have done it ones before and learned very quickly not to do that. Any bad footage you can remove or cover up later after you exited quadcam. If the phone rings you can always pause the Quadcam and press play to continue editing. Sorry no can do!!

A tip for those who are prone to hitting the wrong button (or attention deficit issues LOL).
Split your views into fifteen minute (or five, whatever amount of time you think you can pay attention for without mistakes
) segments and use QC with the appropriate portions.
This will keep you from losing significant amount of work and time if you screw up.
Each successive section will add to the Storyboard successfully and the end result on the Storyboard will be as seamless as if you had did it all in one piece.

Tim sounds like I have attention deficit disorder? May be, but I burned the candle from both ends last week end. I finished at Charlotte and got in bed at 2:15 and got up 5:45 and drove 250 miles northto shoot another show and drove back that night. I guess I am getting too old for that. It has taken me all week to recover. Maybe Nodoz?? Bob...

Bob,
Um no, I was referring to myself.
I have no problem watching video in segments, frame by frame or with Twister where I dictate playback speed, aka: editing, but I go crazy trying to watch a video of a wedding I took in real time all in one pass.
You know, re-runs.
