I have about 200 pictures which I would like to shoot with my camera. when I do this I cant seem to get the edges of the picture not to show. The picture in the lcd looks fine but when I load it into the 4k the edges show. Is there a way to mask the edges before I split the images?

The simplest way is to attach a monitor to your camera that has "Underscan" capabilities. Then zoom in until there are no unwanted parts of images showing on the under scanned screen. With LCD monitors being the choice of the day, most of them will display the entire recorded image and could be used to eliminate unwanted parts of the image. You would just have to confirm that the LCD is showing the entire image using your S4k. Also, there is a "Border" effect that can be applied that will place a black border around your image that will not show on most CRT monitors. It may be enough to eliminate the photo edges. The S4k has a setting under "Systems Settings" called "Cover Border" Be sure that it is checked. This is similar to "Border "effect. Cover border may solve your problem if you already have recorded all the images onto tape. I'm not sure when "Cover Border" is effective. Perhaps someone else on the list can clarify that.
