Smart Edit 8.2 was released in Germany in mid August. I haven't seen any mention of its release over here. Can anyone shed some light on this

I won't speculate as to the reason, but now it looks like Smart Edit 8.3 is about to be announced for users on your side of the pond.
How's the weather been over there? It's been unseasonably cool over here - at least in the northern latitudes.

Craig, I'll trade you some of your cool weather for a little of our unseasonably HOT weather. To beat that our AC quit last night.
I worked Sat night and while I was folding my equipment, at midnight, the sweat was running like Niagra falls. It was 86 degrees and 120% humity. I called the AC repairman and retreated to my studio where there is AC. Whewwwww!! Bob..

Craig,
My guess is that 8.3 will fix the fixes that the previous fixes unfixed
The weather this side of the pond is unseasonably mild, but there again all the seasons now seem unseasonal anyway.

It's 46 degrees F. up here right now - I guess there won't be any Indian Summer this year. Bob, I'd be willing to trade a few degrees with your neck of the woods.
Neither Smart Edit 8.2 nor 8.3 have even been announced for the U.S.
