I downloaded the new up date burned a disc and put it in the S2K but it doesn't seem to recognize the disc.
Can someone refresh my memory on the install procedure?
Thanks

Likely your download did not fully complete so you actually burned only a partial file which will not be recognized or work for an install.
Check the size of the file online and compare it to the file you downloaded on your computer.
Unlike most downloads the MS downloads will falsely complete with an incomplete download.
No idea why this happens, but then there is a reason MS is not on the PC.
As for the install procedure, put the CD in, power up, follow the onscreen instructions.

I would guess you have attempted to load the new Bogart update from the Install Product menu -- instead (as Tim suggested above) insert the disk with the OS update into the DVD drive, power down and restart. It should then recognize the software and take you through the steps for a successful installation.
If it does not recognize the disk then, likely you have a bad disk... follow Tim's advice to acquire a new software disk. Incidentally, I have tutorials for downloading and burning your own software CDs on my website on
this page
(note there are 2 separate links, one for Windows and one for Mac computers).
Hope that helps!

Chet

Here in Germany we received the new Bogart 3 on CD/DVD some days ago.
There were many complaints regarding installation issues.
Strangely some users received Bogart 3.0 and others Bogart 3.0a
Users having identical same type of units had different experiences performing an Update.
Some succeeded, some didn't.
The possible reason: Every 16th copy of System DVD seems not to have been duplicated correctly.
Now all users who had problems have to download Bogart 3.0 again and try a new update.
The mystery of different release versions 3.0 and 3.0a has not been solved yet.
But on download site MS presents the 3.0a version.
I received the 3.0a version DVD.
I was lucky, my update went without problems on S-4000Pro
