S2000 Won't Boot

It seems every other time I try to boot up my S2K, it won't. I get the "Intel" screen and the number 51 in the lower right screen of the VGA monitor and it freezes. The TV monitor just remains black.
I pull the plug, leave it overnight, and it starts up the next day. But I can't keep doing this as it's only allowing me to edit, then, every other day. Anybody have a solution for this problem?

Come on. Please help. Some of you must have experienced this problem. It really sucks to have to keep unplugging this unit and letting it sleep overnight in order to be able to get back into it to get some work done. Any suggestions are very, very welcome. Please.

Can you try it without the VGA connected (Scart or DVI only) and see if that's better.
Also please check that nothing else (USB Stick/Thumb or external USB) is connected other than the trackball, TV lead and mains . . .

I assume you disconnected ALL cables/wires/mouse/keyboard/powercord/usb drives?

Tom,
I don't have a S2000 and have not experienced that problem with my S4000, but other than the things Lou and Michael mention I'd try a full, destructive install.
Not as huge a deal as it use to be if you have your codes on a USB flash drive and have an external hard drive and the HD-Backup software.

Thanks, Tim and Lou. I will give it all a try. Right now, I am just unplugging the unit each night and lo, it doth work the following day.
