Twister and Bogart3.1

Hi All

Last week I finally upgraded to Bogart 3.1 and I have a problem to get my Twixtor working.
Is there anyone in Pal world who got his Twixtor working on this version of Bogart or is it just me?
This is a big loss as I can speed up my work with this as both my hands are working.

I can't report this bug because MS Germany put the wrong Email address on there website
that is convenient. :?:

Hi Jeanton,

I've just done a 1sec to 10sec length adjust on 3.1 in HD and its OK. Will it not work at all, or is it a particular aspect?

Hope you sort it soon. Alan.

Hi Allen

Thanks for your response.
No it doesn't work at all -I know the twister is not broken because I connected it to my Avio and it just works fine.
Have I downloaded the wrong version-is there a Bogart 3.1a or something like that?
I just downloaded it this last week.

Jeanton,

You have to be careful of what you ask for. :D

You intially asked about Twixtor (slow motion software) and Alan tested and responded to that when you were really talking about Twistor (hardware device) which you spelled correctly in your second posting.

Twixtor is working fine with Bogart 3.1, this is how rumors get started. :D

As for the Twister and 3.1 I personally cannot help you with as it isn't released in NTSC land yet.

Sorry for the spelling misstake my fault  it is the twister.
That happens to me after a long hard day at work.

Twixtor is doing fine just done a 7 mins of highlight of my daughter over the last year
took the machine two and half hours to do it but I did use the highest settings though.
I don't watch the machine doing it so thats OK.

Sorry Allan thanks again for your previous response.

Just blown the dust off my "Twister" and it's working fine with v3.1.

Wish I remembered it last week when I was trimming a couple of hours of VHS footage - I'd forgotten how useful it was . . .

Well then, I'd try a different USB jack and perhaps a power cycle and see if that gets your Twister working Jeanton.

If not, sounds like you need to do the full install again to make it work.

Thanks Michael for trying that for me,I might have to download it again maybe something had going wrong during down load.

Thanks Tim for your input-I did do a full install at the time and tried different usb jacks and turn it of and on.
At the moment I am editing personal stuff and when I back that up next week I will do a full install again.
It doesn't worry me to much anymore to do a full install now I have HD-Backup this is a must have for all those
who try to make money some way or another.

Have to say real time audio editing is really good and the scenes numbers displaced on the screen while playing the storyboard
will save me allot of time.I can't get used to time line editing it is just to messy for me but it might work for others
I just stick to the old storyboard.

Yes, with the backup feature and the flash drive storage of codes full installs are not what they once were with the gen3 machines thank goodness.

Sometimes you just get a bad install from the get go on some things that require you to do it again and it sounds like this is one of those times for you.

The timeline editing feature of our system is frankly more of a mock up for looks and is nowhere near as functional as real timeline editing is.

However, I also am naturally more comfortable with Storyboard NLE editing as that is what we are use to with our editing platform of choice.
