Audio delay in recording narration

Ever since I upgraded to the S-4000 PRO and Bogart I have come across a bug which no Bogart upgrade has cured. I hook my Mackie mixer into the RCA inputs of the S-4000 PRO. I have tried them all, HQ and regular. I plug my headphones into the S-4000 Pro directly. I plug a high quality XLR mic into the Mackie. My purpose for all of this is to record some high quality narration directly into the recording window of Bogart.

Problem:

Audio delay. It's either a half a second off or 10 frames off. What I say in the microphone, I hear in the headphones delayed 10 or 15 frames later. It is very annoying and makes it so I can't do any narration.

Has anyone who has tried this who has Bogart attempted this and what has been your success? I have been unsuccessful.

Funny thing is I have tried this for the last year, every configuration, replacing cables. The same setup works PERFECTLY on my black top box old AVIO, no delay, just recording bliss. Problem is the AVIO is not my S-4000 PRO and the AVIO makes way too much FAN noise for narration purposes.

Thank you in advance.
