Am I missing something here? Or in the Arabesk 4 with Bogard 2, there is no button for virtual DVD to check if you did a good job with good chapters, menu, etc. before actual burning. In other words, how do you guys check the disc content before you click the write DVD button? Thanks for your respond.

With any version that does not have the virtual feature burning a DVD-RW is your best work around.

Thanks Tim, but the weirdest thing is that every, even the cheapest one, PC editing software (Pinnacle, Corel...) has a virtual DVD for previewing the material. I don't understand that the new Bogart Os doesn't have this feature and Smart edit has. How is that possible? How can I create the menu? Shouls I burn a couple of DVD's before final results or what? Yes, DVD-RW is good work around. Did I pay $3,500.00 for that?
Thanks.

In Bogart v2.4 (and Arabesk v4.6) the 'virtual dvd' function was re-introduced (it uses Media Manager to achieve this) in the PAL version.
Maybe you are using Twin Screen so this function is not available to you, yet ?
16.09.2009 Bogart SE v2.4 - Update
Bogart SE
- With DVD-Arabesk v4.6 there is a preview possible.

As mentioned, the more recent Arabesk 4 versions have it now, but I wasn't sure which version it was brought back with.
Apparently it was 4.6.
I personally, have used DVD-RW to "proof" my work for years as I trust hardcopy over virtual any day.

Hello Everyone,
I've been trying to find the virtual play back button for a long time now, and no one ever mentioned that using a dual monitor mode was the reason I couldn't find it. That should be announced and loudly so we can all hear about this change.
I never could figure out why Bogart wouldn't let us preview our work like Smart Edit has always done. It just didn't make sense to me. But then nothing much does anymore.

The Bogart machines are a different animal, and no mistake.
This 'new' button launches the Media Managers play back facility directly from Arabesk.
It's not particularly smooth as you can see bits of the main Bogart Menu & Media Manager as it flips across and back again.
Looks like a bit of a rush job and probably implemented due to so many requests to have this feature back.
As we can now (in v3?) view Media Manager on VGA I'm sure that the twin screen preview will follow shortly - but I'm taking no bets

Chet is putting together a list of single and duo monitor mode capability and how it effects our softwares. This is probably on his list. Pick
Colour is another plus a few more.

I might be wrong but I believe the C cube fitted to most SmartEdit machines was required to preview DVD. Claro and Gymnos not fitted with C cube could not preview DVD either.
