How do you edit the Arabesk main menu to provide chapter buttons then a single button to "Play all"?

Hello Darrel,

On the main menu (top menu) you can have films/stamps/icons or text that launches either the film (storyboard) or launches the Chapter Menu for a film.

Since you are member of my website, here is a checklist to help ensure success with Arabesk 4: http://www.casablancaexpert.com/articles/20091201

Let me know if I did not fully understand your question/need.

Regards,
Chet

Thanks Chet,

In a few days I'll be editing a 2 hour dance recital. And in addition to the convenience of chapters, the studio would like to be able to select a button that would play the entire video without interruption.

Not only do your tutorials explain how to create this effect but also serve as a good refresher for a program I haven't used for some months.

Thanks again for your prompt reply and good advice.

Darrel

You are welcome Darrel - glad to be of some assistance.

To cement what you're producing (which is the primary menu I use for similar projects), I have a stamp/button that allows the audience to play the entire film/project. And a separate button that allows them to make scene selections (the Chapter Menu menu).
In my Chapter Menus I almost always add a 'Play All' button that allows the audience to play all the chapters/scenes in succession, from the Chapter Menu. The process to set this up is detailed in my DVD Tutorial: Casablanca Foolproof Volume 2: Arabesk 4 -- this is available from your Casablanca Reseller or in my online store.

Chet
