Need Twixtor Help

I"m having a problem with Twixtor. I'm trying to speed up a scene that is 30:00 in length to 200%. The scene is a HD format 1410x1080p 30p. When I pick Twixtor Quick Motion set my accelerator to 200% and select OK the monitor screen goes black and a signal loss comes up and the led on the front of the S4100 "MacroSystems" goes off , I have left system set for a while ,30 min and nothing. will have to do a force shut down to get my edit system back up. Any ideas? Thanks Ernie

Ernie,
If your editing in an HD Progressive project, Twixtor will not work. Clipboard the footage or at least tte scene you want to use Twixtor on, to an HD project then add the Twixtor FX. This should work. If you wish to continue to edit in the progressive mode, just clipboard the rendered Twixtor clip back to your progressive project.

Hello Everyone,
Yes, because Twixtor works by using the individual fields to interpolate the slow motion and speed control, it isn't designed to work with progressive video projects. So you must work with it in interlaced projects. However because
Bogart will convert back and forth using the clip board feature.....you can do your speed work (ie Twixtor) in an interlaced project and then clipboard it to a progressive project after you get the twixtor rendering completed.
Do just the short affected clips in the interlaced area and then clip board these small clips into a progressive project, don't do the entire thing and then clib board it over......too time consuming that way.
