SD project to bluray?????

SD project to bluray?????
is it possiable to burn a sd edited project to a bluray to watch in a bluray player. Have tried but it keeps ejecting my disc and asking for a blank one.

Never tried that because why would anyone want to do that?
I don't think it would actually improve the video quality of the end product any, Blu-ray blanks are considerably more expensive and Blu-ray players can play DVD and virtually all of them automatically upconvert a DVD upon playback on an HD monitor.

I thought it was possible but, as Tim says, not that practical.
It would, however, allow you to add a very long project to a disc but I'd have thought that maybe only a PC/Mac/PS3 might be able to play as opposed to a domestic player. It might see the BD disc and then be looking for HD or AVCHD because of that . . .
