Hi Franklin
In the UK Dalco recommended the Seagate Expansion 1tb worked out the box using Store n Share which gives you another 30 projects and Chet has a demo of Store n Share on his siteonly drawback is it uses the internal drive used figure as its space guide, this is supposed to be sorted in a later upgrade, don't hold breath, so you have to guess how much space you have left so i keep a note of length of projects i put on it.
Sells for round the £50 to £60 here

The official word in a response to complaints about dropped frames with the Gen3 machines was they believed it was being caused by the large hard drives and how they reorg themselves.
They think they have fixed it, but it is beta-testing right now.
I don't know if a 2TB would make that problem worse than a 1TB or not or if it does whether whatever the fix is would work on a drive twice the capacity of what they designed the fix for.
If they succeed and this fixes that issue with 1TB drives, in theory it is likely to do the same for a 2TB drive, but as you are talking about going into areas where no man (or few) have gone there is no way to be sure at this point that I know of except to buy and try it.
