Surround Effects ( audio )- any user tips ?

I just installed Surround Effects software, and the " instruction manual " for this software leaves a bit to be desired ( at least what I could find at MSUS ). Anybody else have and play with this audio software? What does the camera soundtrack default to - all speakers, or just the fronts?
Thanks. Craig Peer

I use various settings that play well on my 5.1 surround sound system. There is one that is like a "figure 8" which really sounds great for aircraft and helicopters.

Is there no detail manual anywhere Lou ?
The program doesn't appear to modify the original camera track - or does it?

Hello Craig,
I just sent you (off-list) a copy of the original Surround Sound Effects manual. For others, I downloaded this from the older MSAG website here:
http://wetter.macrosystem.de/e/downloads.html
As to why it is not impacting your desired track Craig - here is the process to do so:
Click to select the audio track you wish to affect
Click on the 'Effects' button at bottom of the Audio Mix menu
Scroll to select the desired effect/filter
click on that desired effect - this adds a check-mark (without this it will not work)
click ok and create/render the effect to hear the result
Hope that helps!
Regards,
Chet

It took a little playing with but I think I have this program figured out ( somewhat ). Can't wait to see how this sounds in my home theater with my Denon surround reciever !!
