I recently purchased a Canon EOS Rebel XSI and set the quality too high, forgetting that we can only use 768x480 size photos to transfer.(((wait--- just fond some pictures showing 3744x2104 that transfered))). The size I have to work with are showing 4272x2848. How do I resize the photos ? Is it possible to do in the Renommee or S4000 ??? or only on a PC with what software and how is it done ???? I really need your help as I now need to produce a video this weekend using these photos and I have a very important event to video and take pictures in two weeks.

What are the ideal sizes for photos, graphics to be imported into Casablanca units? Right now i am having to use a borrowed Avio, with no disc transfer or photo Studio.

Size and resolution, what is the best for input?

I do use the Irfanview for some graphics at TV studio - thanks Chet.

I can't speak to what program to use for resizing, except that I get good results from Paint Shop Pro, and I resize all the time for a client. Its a tricky business, so be very careful as to how large you make the original file. I don't know dimensions, but I use a middle level size or lower on my D50. Makes about a 1 meg file, and that seems to work.

I do some still Photography so I shoot in the largest file I can for posibly printing. When I have pictures that I need to reduce I Bring them up and I right Click on the image and I click on copy then right click on your pictures and an exact copy of your file will appear. Your original is still pristeen. You the double click on the thumb nail and go to the top right and click on image then click on Strech/skew. Then change the percentage in horizonal and verticle. 50% is half the size. I have a sight that will only accecpt 195KB and thats usually about 30% for my images. I hope that helps. Bob.....

I am using photos that are 3504 x 2336 with Photo Studio2 and my S4100. Are those too big? Seems to be working in a HDV project.

Just FYI - I burned a Blu Ray disk with an HDV video in which I used many 3504 x 2336 stills - some animated, some collages, some just stills - and blown thru a Sim Lumis projector on a 120" diagonal screen, the stills both animated or not look absolutely stunning !!! I love Photo Studio 2 !!!
