different request.

I have a customer that has requested that I put a u-tube piece on DVD. What would be the best way to get the piece in my editor? I could use just the audio if I have to. Their program I tapped had the u-tube piece as an introduction. Their copy of it had bad audio. I taped it off their overhead projector. They are satisfied with the vide but they would like me to clean up the audio. Thanks Bob.....

Not knowing your options as to audio, I couldn't say how to fix it, but I should think you could go to YouTube, and copy down their audio to a sample track, and drop it in an available audio track on your editor. Don't know what your editing with, but my Ren gets it pretty precise, down to the frame for sync purposes.

On the left side there is the trim button, but when you get inside the box you can also find the option "position". The trackball is too sloppy for frame by frame precision, so I resort to the arrow keys to nail it precisely. Not a big fan of PowerKey, but sometimes it can save your butt when you need precision like this. Bobby Evoy and Chet Davis preach it, and their influence has helped me here.
