audio and image don't synch on import

Post by jpbarthe »

After recording video via usb to storyboard, the image and audio don't synch on playback. Tried in SD and HD, still the same problem. Am I missing a step?

You will first have to isolate the problem.

Step#1: Actually EXPORT your finished storyboard or a part thereof and actually listen to the audio synch. If it is in sync, go to STEP#2

Step#2: Main MENU>SETTINGS>RECORD/PLAYBACK WINDOW>A/V ASYNCHRONITY>ADJUST "0" M until PLAYBACK is normal.

NOTA BENE(LATIN): The above relates to PLAYBACK only from the SCENE BIN to your monitor. It does not fix an actual exportation audio issue.

If this is not fixing the problem, try to import shorter lengths via stopping and starting importation

Another way might be to rip the audio off your track with scene sample, and use the mix mode to put it in with frame accuracy, using the add function and your keyboard arrow keys in the position function. This is one of those places where a little Power Key goes a long way. Basically, every time you hit a continuum slider (such as Range) and it goes dark blue, use the left and right arrow keys to nail the starting position to the exact frame.
