Does anyone know what is going on with downconversion issues? I never seemed to have any trouble with down converting from my HDV camera from HD to SD. Now that I have a 1080x1920 camera with a USB connection my finished product looks bad (jitter vertical lines). Does it matter which input you use for the USB connection? Thanks for any input.

I read somewhere that there is a fix being worked on to give us good downconverts. So, the developers are most likely working on this and I would think the beta team will be working on this soon.

In HDV motion and refresh rate of a LCD/LED monitor can effect the quality. ALSO...importing HDV into any format other than 1920 X1440, will introduce artifacting in ANY editing system.

Why?......the original format is being upscaled from 1440 to 1080i....then downscaled to in ARABESK to SD or even AVCHD.

Lou,

Do you know if this will affect the quality of video output on the S3000?

I have RCA In, and DV out for finish, and using HDMI monitor for editing/recording.

The video quality on the monitor and output is poor. Screen "shakes".

Any advice? thx.
