Importing DVD Recorded Material for Editing?

How do I down load some prerecorded video on a DVD+RW into my Solitaire for editing? I'm thinking that I would come out of my DVD player's Video and Audio Line Out ports and go into the Solitaire's front or back CVBS. Is that right?

Correct. You can use analog as you requested.

However, if the original DVD was made in ARABESK, you can use KSEBARA albeit a loss in quality.

If you are using BOGART, you can pobably RIP .VOB files from the DVD via ROXIO or another software on your PC, export to a flash drive and use Media Manager for importation into your designanted project. I never tried it.
