I have a client that came to me today want me to put to a video together of her singing three songs on stage. There will be no one in the auditorium but her and myself, no people. I told her this type job would required at least a two cameras or a third would be great. The cameras is not a problem for her. My concern is that she will be on a stage with a plain black curtain in the background. Can I get some graphics that can be use for backdrops only in the video? I guess if I did that I would have to super impose her to the backdrop, is this correct? Please excuse me if I have these terms wrong.

I will be doing this on my Solitaire and if I need some additional software I would bill her for this.

This is a very tough situation. You are, most likely, referring to "KEYING" I assume. You want to replace the black curtain with a background? If so. Purchase Blue-Box World. Also join the http://www.casablancaexpert.com for the steps needed as shown in Chet's video.

This is a tough situation because the black curtain can not have even a hint of gray of folds. Usually green screen is used for what you want to do. However, it the curtain is pitch-black with NO folds and EVEN lighting, it just may work. If colored spotlights are added to your main subject, you will be totally out of luck.
