Menues for AVCHD(DVD) and Blu-ray in ARABESK?
I have now many AVCHD projects ready for burning AVCHD(DVD) and Blu-ray discs, but I'm still missing the possibility of making menues in ARABESK. Anybody out there who knows better?

Not yet. MAYBE ARABESK 5....but who knows.
NOTE BENE: Keep in mind that only ONE HD project rendered to ARABESK AVCHD DVD can be read by a Blu-ray player, even though you can download a series of HD projects to ARABESK 4 in HD mode to one disc. The first download will be the only "film" that can be recognized by the Blu-ray player. In other words, no multiple downloads of different projects to ONE disc in AVCHD and NO menus as of now.

Hi Mykle,
If your AVCHD videos are for personal use and not for customers. You might consider using a HDD media player. I use the Iomega ScreenPlay Director. This has a built in 1TB drive. There is also the Western Digital player that uses an external drive. I have found that AVCHD files are best loaded to the Iomega as HDV files. The player is slow to start up and responds to the remote slowly too, but it does what I need. I take it with me to our video club or to friends houses to show my HD movies. Most people we know now have HD TV's but not BlueRay players, so it solves that problem too.
Cheers Alan.

Lou, that is not true.
The Sony PS3 and most of the Blu-ray players can play back multiple titles from an AVCHD disc. You only have to know how to do that
For example there is a menu in the PS3 Blu-ray player that lets you select the title to be played back. Then you can switch to title 2, 3, 4, etc.

VOLKER: Have PS 3 but I can't get it to work. I know other users who do not have PS 3 can not read multiple projects. I am referring to AVCHD DVD and not the AVCHD file system in ARABESK.
Can you give us PS3 users a step by step?.......I will owe you a beer.

I would offer a barrel of beer (and some norwegian special drinks!) if you could make it possible to let us get menues in ARABESK, and use it in my Panasonic Blu-ray player!

My PS3 currently is busy (playing Gran Turismo5) - but I will have a look later to give you a step by step instruction for this tricky trick
I know that we could access all AVCHD "titles" with our Panasonic Blu-ray player that we had in the MS offices as well. There was a button on the remote (title?) that allowed you to select between the different movies although there were no menus.
I think Arabesk5 will make everyone happy... )

PS3:
insert AVCHD DVD or Blu-ray with various titles on it
go to the "video" section and select AVCDH DVD-ROM (play from the beginning)
playback starts
press triangle
select the "go to" icon
move cursor and highlight "title"
press x
select film title with up and down keys on the digital joypad
Lou, I prefer German beer, but you also can send me a bottle of Bud

Hmm, I'm just wondering. Will a stand alone Blu-ray recorder be able to make chapters in a similar way as ARABESK can do when making an ordinary DVD?

Re: Menues for AVCHD(DVD) and Blu-ray in ARABESK?
Volker: Worked like a charm. I can now read multiple HD projects in ARABESK 4. So, it depends on the capability of the Blu-ray player and is NOT a fault in ARABESK. They really hid this sub-menu deep inside the PS 3 menu. Makes me wonder if non-PS3 players have a title advance menu.
