I'm interested if anyone has played around with the new 3D Cut for Bogart software?? It's supposed to render 3D Stereo footage (left & right) footage into a single 3D clip for playback on 3D displays or projection.
Also, if you have used it, what modes of 3D Stereo does it offer, such as Anaglyph, Interlaced, etc.????

It has been released in Germany, but I did not play with it yet
To be honest, maybe I am the only one in the word who is not interested in this 3D hype at all...

I agree with you Volker. Don't we have enough troubles with our editing system without adding 3D to the mix.
I'll be happy to get my S4000 Pro to start up on the first try. I have to start it and power down several times to finally get it to run. I was told by tech support to try all kinds of methods to fix the problem, which I have done already. His final solution was to reseat the circuit boards, I might have a bad connection. Yeah, like I want to do that and create other problems. Then I would have to send it in to MacroSystems for costly maintenance.
Yeah, Sony, Apple, Microsoft,Toyota, Honda and other electronic sevices and car manufacturers have their problems too. Why should our system be any different? How often do you get a request for a wedding or other events, in 3D?

Don't get me wrong.
I am totally happy with the current equipment and software that I have.
Ok, I would love to CBPaint on my Bogart machine, but that's probably too much to ask for

I am fascinated by 3D. Yeah. You have to deal with glasses. Yeah, there are many limitations to what you can do manually with 3D unless you are willing to spend lots of cash on a camera like the Panasonic AG-3DA1. I am neither rich nor famous -- so the lower end of 3D is where I would probably dwell (Panasonic HDC-SDT750K 3D or a Sony HDR-TD10). Rats, but thats what I get for being a member of the working class. Understand, I have a blast taking ideas to the screen AND experimenting/working with 3D sounds adventurous. Something of a hobby. I would love to see that software available. We have a 3D TV and people are wowed by what they see on it.
I don't have to beg people to watch what I do (as an example --
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drtsUHRSa24)... My stuff is not perfect -- but we have a blast making it. They want to see what I am up to next... hey, if 3D is in testing, I am game! Can't wait to see what it looks like on my 3D big screen...
Would love to hear more about that 3D software (in English) for my S4000Pro. And cameras that would work well with such software Anyone?
