Where is my Delux Titler 3D?

Post by RonaldPawlak »

When I had OS 3.6 I had the Delux title 3D and was learning how to use it. Then I got the new 4.1, and now I got the time to practice using it, I can't find it. I went to the install settings, it shows that it's there and activated. I remember with 3.6 you had to disable or hid one of the programs in order to make it avaliable. What was it, I was suppose to do?

. Go to your TITLE menu

.Look to your lower right

.Next to the "i" button, you will see the OPT icon

.Click on the "OPT" icon

.Observe the dropdown menu

.Choose either "STANDARD" or "TITLE-STUDIO"

At this time, you will see a confirmation of your choice in the "ENTER/edit text" bar above the "OPT" icon.

Hope this helps. Unlike the new "VIEW" icon in BOGART 4's AUDIO MIX bin, this feature is hidden whithin the "OPT" dropdown menu in the title areaa.

Thanks Lou
I don't know where you found out this information. I don't recall reading it anywhere. Thanks again.
Just bought two new XF-100 Canon cameras Never thought I would ever abandon Sony, But Canon won me out, even though I had to wait a month for delivery. Now I got to learn all the intricacies about how to use it.

That works for Title Studio but Deluxe Title 3D should be on the right hand selection panel - more or less at the top of the list.

Just make sure that it's the v2 Bogart version that you have loaded and not the v1.1c Smart Edit one ?

For Lou Bruno,Yes I would like you to send me those settings for the XF camera. I didn't answer right away because I had to finish up a program I was editing. My Son, that had the other XF camera is interested in it also, so I will forward him the information.

MichaelD
I already bought the Deluxe 3D title when I have previous operating systems, I have the software on a seperate CD,but when I loaded O.S. 4,1 I notice there was a red dot before the Deluxe 3D title in the effect column. So knew it was a Demo Mode in the titler.
I notice Deluxe 3D Title BO only. Even though I purchased Deluxe 3D title and now can't use it So does that mean I have to purchase the Borgard Only software and can't use the old software?????? Another piece of software purchased nad lost, It don't even work when I try to use it in 3.6 O.S. and try to make a scene of it as stated in the notes.I guess that's the nature of the business.

As stated in the 4.1 O.S notes, "Be sure to run Titler Studio 1.2 from the Add On Software CD with the system if you have purchased the Title Studio program. Using an older Title Studio version will result in both Title Studio and Deluxr 3D Title will stay in demo modes" Using older Title Studio version will resulf in both Title and Deluxe Title 3D will stay in the demo mode, Also please use the later Arabesk 4 version, Arabesk 4.13 from the new Add On software.

Even then when I done all of that and followed Lou's instructions, "I go to Opts, click it, with the drop down menu, I select the title studio, and enter" I do not get the title studio I still get the old titler. And the Title Studio is not there in the effects column and the Deluxe 3D title has the red dot. The latest version of software date is March 24, 2011 which I received on June 21, 2011

Simple answer is yes - although there is an upgrade price as you already have the earlier version.
