Am I doing something wrong?

I load in a hd file via card reader. I use a Sony HXR-NX5U. It reads in ok and I tried to auto split, that did not work correctly, so I manually split the video. I placed all my scenes on the storyboard and put in transitions and music. I then went to finish and regenerated. This took over night for a 50 min video. I am still using the last version of Bogart. I then burnt to a standard dvd, which also took all day. The finished product seems to be fine. I did not find any audio out of sync. I keep reading how HD in the Bogart systems does not work, maybe I am doing something wrong and I am not really getting a hd file. Has anyone used the new Bogart with a HD project? I wait a little while to install new software, since they had the software problem a few releases back. Is there a step by step proceedure I should be following?

Hopefully the dvds are ok I just sent out 30.
