I just scanned 80 pictures or so and I put them on a cd and moved them to my Rennie. I have noticed that when they went into the Scene bin they didn't go in order. I moved them up to the story board as they were in the Scene bin and they are all messed up. Why is that? I spent time to sort them before I scanned them and I guess thet was a waste of time. Also I had 1 picture that scanned 80 degrees out and I rotated it before I put it on the cd and it didn't transfer. Its a JPEG like the other 802 pics. I have tried several times to scan it agin and the rennie says there is no picture on the cd. ??????? Scratch head!

Hello Bob,
Should I assume you are asking about Photo Studio 2 (and not Photo Shop 2)?
First - I have found Photo Studio 2 (PS2) to be a bit finicky importing all photo sizes, etc. It does a great job but is a little picky about photos that are too large or too small in file size. To adjust the size of your photos use Irfanview (Windows) or Preview (Apple/Mac) to get the size down - tutorial here:

To get photos to import in the same chronological or alphabetical order as they are listed on your PC, try adjusting the Date filter - found at the bottom of the Import Photos menu. You must use this prior to importing the photos.
Additionally I have a streaming video tutorial that helps understand the Folders function in Photo Studio 2, this can be used to batch import and batch adjust photos:

Hope that helps!

Chet

Thanks Chet. I'll look at both these. Both the pictures that it had rejected I had rotated them in windows before I put them on the cd so I put them on another cd without rotating them and it took them fine. I then rotated them in Photo Studio 2. To get them in order I just had to go back and look thru the photo's and reassemble them. It took me an hour and a half. LOL! I will look into the date filter thing. I use a lot of stills in my production but I usually have to go find the photo I want and the order doesn't mater. As usual you have come to my rescue. I Thank you. My profit margins are so thin sometimes I take a bath if things don't go as planned. Bob...
