Slow motion

I look at the sample videos on this forum. Whats is the best way to get slow motion without the picture looking bad.

Shoot good footage and use Twixtor.

AND.....don't use progressive mode.

It also depends on the footage on which settings of Twixtor work best for any specific footage.

Any special settings. I have twixtor but I have never used it.

Eliminate any panning in the slo mo shots.

Here is a Latest Highlight. I used Glidecam and Kessler Pocket Dolly. Twixtor Slowmotion is used in various parts. Shot with Sony Z5U. 60i.
under options: Typically
Quick: Saves render time. If there is alot of motion you may need to go to better quality.
enhanced Analysis: uncheck
enhanced Image-Border: uncheck
max.motion: Medium
I also use Vario: very effetive for certain shots.
