Can't get Rennie to boot.

I have had a problem with my Renommee. I was editing a piece and was on to title screen and I went to change a date on the title and it wouldn't let me take out the charactors with the backspace key and when I tried it came up with a circle with a line thru it. I discovered that when I pressed Ctrl and alt the curser came back but when I let it up the circle came back. I then held them down and shut it down thinking I would reboot. Now it won't boot at all. The yellow light is on but nothing on the monitor. Can anyone help? Thanks Bob Oh another thing I noticed after I shut it down was I have a DVD player plugged in the front and I noticed the Magnavox emblem was floating around so that says there is something going thru the Rennie. Help!

I saved this from LEN, a Cassie owner a while back. Perhaps this can be of some help for you:
1. Make sure there is no disc in your DVD burner.
2. Have the unit connected to both a VGA and regular video monitor, and have a keyboard and trackball connected.
3. Start the machine.
4. When you see the first activity on the VGA, press the Delete key on the keyboard.
This should take you to the Bios Setup Utility.
5. Right arrow across to the boot section and select Boot Device Priority.
6. Select 1st boot priority and press Enter.
Highlight the Pioneer burner and press Enter.
7. Select 2nd boot priority and press Enter.
Highlight Casablanca BEV and press Enter.
8. Select 3rd boot priority and press Enter.
Highlight ST300 (not sure of the complete number) and press Enter.
9. Select 4th boot priority and press Enter.
Highlight Disabled and press Enter.
10. Press F10 and then OK to save settings.
System shoud now reboot to main menu on the video screen. This may take about 60 seconds.
From there on you can go to System Settings to install your software from the "All Software CD".
Be careful, (this applies to Reno Plus or a Sol Plus owners), not to install Smart Edit 5.1c from the "All Software CD".
If you are adding new drives, be sure to use only the 5.1c Renommee boot disc.

Lou I got it up this morning and finished That project and another. I just shut it off about an hour so I will see if it boots in the morning. I will try what yo suggested if it doesn't boot in thmorning. Thanks...

For the third time - My Rennie won't even come alive when pushing the power switch on the front.
1. I've used different power cords
2. Different Outlets
3. Unplugged everything overnight.
Push the button - Nothing - No lights, No pool or pets.
Any suggestions or just ship again toDenver.
Thank you.

APN, Most likely the power supply, but as it could be several internal things I'd say it's time to call corporate.

My Reno Plus recently wouldn't boot and it took a trip to Colorado and a new mother board to get it back running.

Does that mean you loose all that you are working on?
