converting from mini dv tape to .mov file

Hey Everyone,
I am trying to get a commercial spot to a client who wants it in .mov. i am a pc user and made the 30 sec spot in Renommee, which I always use.
i uploaded to Windows movie maker (don't have any other pc video editing software right now) and it seems to only save as wmv file.
any suggestions?
