S6000 TFT

The 4.3 TFT color display on the front of the unit
stays lit with power on or off. there is never any
text or graphics showing on the display, just a
blank lit screen. A new unit, in service for four days.
Please advise.

Hi Ronald,
first have a look in the Manual BogartSE for Bogart4.
MediaManager #3.5 Unit--> features some explanations about front display
It seems settings of the front display can only be obtained via MediaManager.
I also don't know where to find more details.
Maybe someone who knows could give detailed info

Even in powered down mode you should see a clock (wish you could turn it off as it's very bright.
The front panel has it's own software (part of Bogart) so I'd certainly try a Bogart 'Update" to see if the relevant bit of firmware then allows it to function correctly.
