Reno Plus won't boot

I have tried Lou's "Bios" set up and that didn't work. When I start the Reno+ it will go as far is the "Casablanca Renommee" screen with white back ground and stop. I have tried three different HDs with the same result. These hard drives work fine in another Reno+. I've unplugged the unit, disconnected all wires, and even tried re-installing the software disk. The result was a message that "no hard drive was detected to install the software." I took the cover off and check the HD connections. All were "glued" in place with some sort of clear hard substance except one multi pin connector. I removed and replaced it with care to be sure it went all the way in. The HD connector inside the unit visible from the front doesn't have any bent pins. I Re-assembled and no change. The unit stops at the Casablanca flag screen. Any other suggestions beside calling boulder?

Double check the BIOS.. It boots off of the DVD drive. Sounds like a video card issue.

At #8 There is no ST300 or any other number. The last item in the blue window is "Disabled". There is no 4th boot item in the "Boot Device Priority" window.

8. Select 3rd boot priority and press Enter.
Highlight ST300 (not sure of the complete number) and press Enter.

9. Select 4th boot priority and press Enter.
Highlight Disabled and press Enter.

10. Press F10 and then OK to save settings.

System shoud now reboot to main menu on the video screen. This may take about 60 seconds.

From there on you can go to System Settings to install your software from the "All Software CD".

Be careful, (this applies to Reno Plus or a Sol Plus owners), not to install Smart Edit 5.1c from the "All Software CD".

If you are adding new drives, be sure to use only the 5.1c Renommee boot disc.
