2 lines of type!

I have created a black scene of 30 seconds length, and put it in storyboard. Next, I went to title menu, picked horizontal scrolling lines, and added that on top on the black. Opened up enter/edit text, and deleted all existing pages and boxes. Next, I set up font and size, color and went to typing in the title. Get it on there, and hit preview, and it shows 2 lines of text scrolling across! There is no scene in the scene bin with this title in it. WHAT TO DO? What in this process is telling titler to create 2 lines, one at bottom and another toward mid-frame?

This has me puzzled as well Jim.
You absolutely, positively know there are no additional boxes (not calling you a liar here - just have had this happen myself)... make sure it says 'Box 1/1' in the Box Menu.
This 2nd box or line of text that you did not add, is this the same text you're adding, or what does it say?
Regards,
Chet

EXACT same line of text, starting a bit later (1-2 seconds) and ending up at same time.

I don't own a Bogart machine, but I'm wondering if you might have any titling add-on programs either active or in demo mode that you could try unstalling/reinstalling. Another thing you might try is to use the clipboard to copy the clips to another project, create the titles in that other project, if it works properly make a scene of them and then clipboard them back to your main project.

Ck,
Not a bad idea, but wonder what other titling programs WOULD be in there, besides maybe title studio. I don't know all the possibilities. Will try that transfer to another project, and move back in. Sounds interesting. Thanks!
