Where is the setting that tells the disk to return to the menu when a program selection is finished? I have 2 videos on a disk, and neither one gets back to the menu when it finishes.

In the Arabesk “Edit menu” or via the assistant the “Control” menu has three choices:-

Film menu – The DVD opens with the menu and a film has to be selected.

Film trailer only – The first film starts automatically. When finished it goes back to the menu, but the played film is no longer listed.

Film trailer + menu – The first film plays automatically and returns back to the full menu when the film finishes.

I had selected "film menu". The CD was NOT going back to it after the piece finished.

So what does it do then instead, play the other one?

You have loaded them as two Films?

They are 2 separate choices on the menu. When either one finishes, it does NOT go back to menu automatically.

Jim,

Unless you're already tried it I think this will suit your needs:

Under the 'Control' settings of the Title Menu menu -
Select 'Menu' and beneath it 'Films' should be set to 'individual play'.

Hope that helps!

Chet

I think what Chet suggests (Individual Play as the setting) will fix it, but if it doesn't, exactly what happens when the Film ends if it doesn't go back to the menu?

Blank screen, green screen, the Film repeats, the other Film plays, what?

burned another copy, and can't get the disk to repeat that. Will look at what some of the other disks are doing. BTW, those are the settings.
